Poor gas mileage, fuel injector cleaner helps?

i already check everything, except o2 sensor and injector...

o2 sensor cost too much and i dont know i need it replace or not...

so i will try fuel injector cleaner



lucas and chevron techron, which is good and safe?



my car has only 25000 miles but it is 6 years car.....any other reason it cause poor gas mileage? i already oil changed, changed air filter and new spark plug...Poor gas mileage, fuel injector cleaner helps?Before trying fuel injector cleaner, try some regular dry gas. It is will take any moisture out of your tank that is in there. If the car is 6 years old and only has 25K on it, it sounds like it sits a lot. When your car sits your gas tank can condensate. This causes moisture in your tank and sometimes that moisture is getting into your engine. This can cause a white smoke out of your exhaust, loss of power, and poor gas mileage. I would try that first. Fuel injector cleaner after. Sometimes you can get buildup in your fuel injection system from it sitting also. I have used the Chevron one. Seems to be ok. I think they are a little over rated though. Good luck.

any leading brand fuel injector will work good on cleaning the injectors out,id try that and see if it helped it any,if not you might want a shop to diagnose it for you,poor gas mileage can be the cause of a bad sensor or anything tune up related,try the cleaner and see if that helps it any first,good luck.
