((((if they are factory your problem is not the injectors)))
..it sounds like you have a vacuum leak ...check that....how you can do that is turn on your car ..get some brake cleaner(like the spray) spray every line going to your intake manifold and the hose that connects your air filter box to the manifold...when the car feels like its going to die when spraying in a area it is where you have the leak....
the engine light coming on prior to turning on your car is normal......if the car is 96 and newer take it to your autozone and they will scan for codes for free.
also do a compression test and leak down test...
go from there...Symptoms of a BAD fuel injector..?i own a repair shop, and first off id take it to auto zone and have it scanned to see if there was any trouble codes in it,and what the were, then you might have a better idea of what its doing right now,it could either be a bad gas filter causing this or an injector,or even a bad fuel pump ,or a relay for it ,on today's cars there's so much that it can be ,its hard to guess at them, you need to have it scanned to be sure whats wrong with it,good luck,i hope this helps. No No No. Not nesssessarily a bad Inj. A failed injector will cause a rythmic miss, nearly the same symptom as if you pull a plug wire from an individual cylinder.
LOOK at the fuel system as a whole. what does cause improper fuel distribution is the fuel pressure regulator that governs the line pressure in the fuel rail. It is a common failure part.I would say that is your problem based on the symptoms you describe plus an over 95% failure condition of fuel distribution problems in Hondas (alldata-2005 vehicle inherencies). Hey, the good news is that I am confident in you that you can change it out yourself AND the part is pretty cheap and available at your local-clerk knows litle to nothing auto parts store! EG8 is a pretty good motor by the way if you keep clean oil in it.
Best to you and your Honda too :)
