Toyota echo engine is hesitating, had tune up and carb cleaned. Does fuel injector need to be changed?

many things can cause hesitation, a plugged cat a plugged air filter even a to rich burning engine can cause it to hesitate. get a Vacuum Gage put it on the engine below the throttle plate and see what the vacuum is, if it's 18 it's OK if it's lower it could be a restriction in exhaust, sticky valves, which can be cleaned with top engine cleaner that can be bought from a GM dealer. a sticky throttle plat, caused by weak spring or dirty cable or cable needs oiling, sticking choke bad 02 sensor I could go on, if it's automatic is it burning a little oil but not losing it out the engine then the trany modulator valve could be sucking oil into the intake causing the fuel mix to not be right and cause it to run like crap, and an intake leak a hose a loose carburetor base plate, spray some WD 40 around the base plate see if the engine speeds up and around vacuum hose's if it speeds up you got a intake leak, if it has power brakes it could be a leak in the brake booster chamber which most people never check. a vacuum heater reservoir leaking as well. I need more input to narrow it down.Toyota echo engine is hesitating, had tune up and carb cleaned. Does fuel injector need to be changed?what year Toyota Echo?

In order to help, you really have to describe it better.. what one person would call hesitation, another would call no power.. be more specific.. if your trying to say that the car runs good, has lots of power, but it seems to take long for the signal to go from your foot to the engine.. I believe that car has drive by wire.. ie:no throttle cable.. so you could be feeling the electrical delay between the accelerator pedal position sensor and the motor.
