How much vacuum is needed for a 1982 porsche 924 brake booster to work properly?

I just changed the fuel injection system in my 924 into weber carbeurators and the carbs have no vacuum ports. So i was wondering if it would be possible to use the old fuel injector ports as spots to make vacuum using tubing one way valves and a canister into the booster. I'm just worried if the vacuum created there would be too powerful. How much vacuum is needed for a 1982 porsche 924 brake booster to work properly?Your would never want to use a vacuum port off a carb. That would not be below the butterfly, or would be very small.

Brake booster vacuum always comes right from the manifold.

And while you could use the injection ports, they are not central so would effect one cylinder more than another, and not a good idea.

The old vacuum source should still be there because it has to be after the throttle body, and therefore not removed when you switched the throttle body for a carb.

But if you changed the whole manifold, then simply drill a hole in it and tap a new vacuum port in it.

And no, the vacuum could not be too powerful, because it only uses as much as it needs.

There should already be a one way valve in the brake booster.

The Porsche Vacuum Booster is a very powerful device needed to operate the foot brakes. There is a large membrane that oscillates back and forth inside the booster with braking activity. Sometimes the membrane fails and should be replaced to restore braking power.

Ah yes, the cause and effect relationship of modifying cars...

Good luck!
I already voted for Motorhead's answer (as I think it is correct and the most straight forward), but just wanted to let you know another option is electric assist brake boosters. Some hotrodders and people building electric vehicles use them.
